Viral Art
Viral Art is an interesting new online book written by RJ Rushmore.
It discusses how graffiti and street art have always used affective ways of communication from the early days of painting trains to how this has now been shaped by new technologies and if the future of graffiti lies online!?
I haven’t read all of it yet- but it is a thorough and interesting read and available to all to READ ONLINE – which due to the subject is a great way to put the book out.
Personally i find the section on GIFS to be most interesting 🙂
“GIF-iti is a form of graffiti where the audience is targeted by interest but not limited by geography. For this reason, INSA’s GIF-iti is one of the most important advances in graffiti and street art in the last decade.”
